Works on the controversial city roundabouts scheme intensify this week, adding more disruption to traffic in Galway.

Works on the Newcastle road enter a new phase today until Saturday and the N59 through the junction will be closed during off-peak hours.

From tomorrow, works to upgrade the Lynch roundabout at Briarhill will involve reducing traffic down to one lane during off-peak hours.
