WOMAN STILL CRITICAL AFTER LOUGHREA CRASH

A woman in her late 40s, is critical but stable at Portiuncula Hospital in Ballinasloe following a crash near Loughrea last evening.Meanwhile a man is in a stable condition at University Hospital Galway.The two-car collision happened just after seven o clock at Kilmeen cross, two miles on the Dublin side of Loughrea.It's understood there was oil on the straight stretch of road at the time, when a car and a jeep collided.There were two people in both vehicles at the time of the crash.
