WOMAN RELEASED WITHOUT CHARGE IN OUGHTERARD MURDER CASE

A woman in her 30s who was arrested as part of the investigation into the murder of Oughterard man, John Kenny has been released without charge.

The woman was arrested in Claregalway on Wednesday night and was detained at Millstreet Garda Station for questioning.

Three men and a 17-year-old boy who were also arrested earlier in the week were released yesterday.

A file will now be sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions.

A 37-year-old man with an address in the city is due before Harristown District Court tomorrow [fri 7/10] for withholding information in the case.
