Galway's next good weather day as Met Eireann issue 'uncertain' forecast

Weather maps are throwing up some different scenarios
The good summer days are going to be few and far between this Galway Races week as Met Eireann is forecasting ‘uncertainty’ for the Bank Holiday too.
Wednesday morning will turn heavy over Connacht with the odd isolated sunny spell coming in between the drops as temperatures hit highs of 23C.
Wednesday night will be mainly dry with clear spells and some scattered showers in the west leading to a cooler and less humid night than recent ones as the dial drops back to 7C.
This is what Met Eireann is forecasting for the rest of the week and into the weekend:
Tomorrow: “Thursday will be a bright day with sunny spells and scattered showers. These are mainly over Connacht and Ulster. Cooler and fresher with highest temperatures of 15 degrees in the northwest to 22 degrees in the southeast with moderate westerly winds.
Overview: “Cooler and fresher with sunny spells and some showers. Turning more unsettled later in the long weekend.”
They added: “Friday will bring sunny spells. Scattered showers in the northwest will extend southeastwards and become widespread in the afternoon. They'll be most frequent in Connacht and Ulster. Highest temperatures of 15 to 21 degrees, warmest in the southeast with moderate westerly winds.
Saturday: “Largely dry with a mix of cloud and sunny spells with just isolated showers. Highest temperatures of 16 to 21 degrees in mostly light westerly breezes. The forecast for the rest of the August Bank Holiday weekend is uncertain.”
