Galway weather: Met Eireann forecast big change as two days of 22C on way

Met Éireann has indicated that the mercury could be set to rise again in Galway and across Ireland in its latest weather forecast
Met Eireann are forecasting big changes on the way as two days of 22C are being promised in a return back to the sunshine.
Tuesday will be cloudy to start with scattered showers but it will become brighter as the day goes on with the rain breaking up the sunshine in between.
Temperatures will reach highs of between 16 and 21C with the best of the weather being held by those in the south of the country.
Tuesday night will remain cloudy in the west with isolated showers as temperatures drop to a chillier 9C.
There is some hope for a summer revival though as the National Forecaster is saying that Friday and Saturday will bump up to 22C but with rain still spitting occasionally.
Met Eireann’s forecast for the rest of the week looks like this:
Wednesday: ‘Tomorrow will start out dry for most. Through the morning cloud will increase with rain and drizzle developing in the west for a time, becoming more patchy and isolated as it spreads east. Munster and south Leinster will remain mostly dry for the day with brighter conditions and the occasional sunny spell developing. Highest temperatures of 14 to 21 degrees, warmest in the south and east, in light to moderate south to southwest winds.’
Thursday: ‘Briefly cloudy to start, but brighter conditions will develop through the morning with sunny spells. Generally dry for the day too apart from the odd shower over parts of the north and northwest. Highest temperatures of 15 to 21 degrees, cooler in the northwest, with moderate west to northwest winds.’
Friday: ‘Generally cloudy but dry for most. Showery spells of rain will move in over parts of Connacht and Ulster throughout the day, Moderate southwest winds, fresh and breezy along Atlantic coasts. Highest temperatures of 16 to 22 degrees.’
Saturday: ‘Looking to be rather overcast for the day with occasional spits of light rain and drizzle. Temperatures will be mild again ranging between 16 and 22 degrees, warmest in the south and southeast’
