Wealthy residents of The World yacht explore Galway

Galway Bay fm newsroom - The World - which is the largest privately owned residential yacht on earth - has docked in Galway harbour, but out at Mutton Island as it's too large for the inner harbour

In the last half hour its passengers have been disembarking from the 12 deck 43,000 tonnes vessel for their visit to Galway

The price of a two bedroom apartment onboard is almost three million dollars - and it's residents pay maintenance fees of twenty thousand dollars a month

While onlookers were delighted this famous vessel is visiting Galway some were disappointed it's so far away from the shore.
