VOTING UNDERWAY IN GALWAY IN SECOND LISBON REFERENDUM

Voting is underway in Galway in the second Lisbon Treaty Referendum.Polling stations in Galway will close at 10 o'clock tonight.Yesterday islanders on the Aran Islands cast their votes to ensure their ballot papers arrive on the mainland before counting begins.Counting will begin in the count centres in Leisureland and New Inn tomorrow morning and the result should be known by tomorrow evening.
