Unite Trade Union says it will do 'everything it can' to save jobs at the Insurance company.

No jobs will be lost before March 2012 and the full implementation of the redundancy programme could take up to two years.

However, it's still unclear where the redundancies, which are hoped to be largely voluntary, will come from.

Representatives from the union are meeting with staff at the Knocknacarra call centre at 5 o ' clock this evening.

The union has also vowed to ballot staff on industrial action following last night's meeting in Dublin.

Regional Officer with Unite Brian Gallagher says they will do everything they can to save jobs.
