TWO THOUSAND GALWAY STUDENTS TO MARCH IN DUBLIN

Date Published: 16-Nov-2011
Up to 2 thousand Galway students will march alongside their counterparts at a major demonstration in Dublin today.
Over 33 coaches carrying NUI Galway and GMIT students are leaving the city around now.
They'll travel to Dublin city centre to join the march which is being held in protest against the possible re-introduction in college fees.
Students want the Labour party, and Education Minister Ruairí Quinn, to honour their pre-election promises not to increase student registration fees and not to cut supports, like student grants.
