TWO MALES RELEASED WITHOUT CHARGE IN OUGHTERARD MURDER INVESTIGATION

Two males have been released without charge in connection to the murder of John Kenny in Oughterard last Sunday week.A man and a teenage boy were arrested yesterday and held for questioning but have now been released.A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.A woman in her early 30s, who was arrested in Claregalway last night, is still being detained at Milstreet Garda Station under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.Fifty-six year old teacher and part-time publican John Kenny was found dead at his pub on Main Street, Oughterard on September 25th.
