TUAM ROAD REOPENS AFTER FORENSIC EXAMINATION

A stretch of the Tuam Sylane road has now fully reopened following an examination of the road where a man died last night.
A man in his 60s, and from the Sylane area, was fatally injured when the car he was driving crashed into a wall at Woodquay on the weir road at around 6:30pm
Initial reports indicate the man, who was the sole occupant of the car, took ill while driving towards Tuam from Sylane last evening.
He was fatally injured when the car crashed into a wall at Woodquay on the Weir road.
Tuam Gardaí are investigating and are asking anyone with information to contact them.
