Tuam men to face sentencing over violent disorder in town
Galway Bay fm newsroom - Two Tuam men will be sentenced in January for their part in a violent incident which occurred in the town two years ago.
22 year old Anthony Ward, of 144 Lissadyre, Tuam, and 41 year old Denis Ward, same address, pleaded guilty before Galway Circuit Criminal Court this week to a charge of violent disorder at or near Springer’s Bar, Tuam, on October 9, 2011.Mr Justice Raymond Groarke directed the preparation of probation reports for both men and adjourned sentencing to January 21 next year.
