TUAM ELECTRONIC MANUFACTURING COMPANY TO CLOSE

A well known and long established company in Tuam has become the latest victim of the recession.

Pulse Electronics on the Dunmore Road has announced it's to close its design centre with the loss of 8 jobs.

The US electronics components manufacturing firm has been in Tuam since 1974.

Positions in marketing and quality will be retained with some engineering staff offered the option to relocate.
