Troubled yacht now safe at Kilronan Harbour
Galway Bay fm newsroom - The Aran Island lifeboat was tasked this afternoon to assist a yacht which had gotten into difficulty off Inis Mór.
The coastguard received the alert at 2.30 from a small yacht which ran aground approaching Kilronan harbour.
The operation was focused in the Killeany Bay area.
The yacht has since made its way to the harbour with the assistance of the lifeboat and all four crew members are uninjured.
