Three cases of swine flu have been confirmed among young Italian students attending a summer language course in the city. The three students have been quarantined in their accommodation and are under the supervision of two doctors. The three patients were students of a language course run by English Language company MLI which was using the GMIT Dublin Road campus. A spokesperson for GMIT said the college was open as normal and HSE precautions for third-level institutions are in place.
