Survey seeks survivors of institutional abuse in Galway
Galway Bay fm newsroom - A charity, which offers support to survivors of institutional abuse, is conducting a national survey, which will be managed by its Galway office.
Right of Place Second Chance is looking for survivors to participate in the research to explain what their needs are.The charity feels that reports into institutional abuse often only cover the impact of abuse on survivors who were children, but doesn't address their needs as adults.Micheál Walsh, Director of Services with Right of Place, says people can contact the Galway office at Kilkerrin Business Park in the city.
