STUDY LISTS GALWAY AS KEY HUB FOR MULTINATIONALS

Galway is one of three counties which account for 82 per cent of employment created in Ireland by international companies.
That's according to the authors of a study carried out to assess the success of the National Spatial Strategy.
It claims that the government isn't doing enough at a local level to entice multinationals to different counties.
The Strategy was set up ten years ago, to ensure a more even spread of investment throughout Ireland.
One of the findings is that counties such as Galway, Dublin and Cork account for much of the country's international employment.
