STATE BODIES NOTIFIED OF ALLEGED UNAUTHORISED DEVELOPMENT ON KILSKEAGH HILL

The Health and Safety Authority has been informed about alleged illegal land clearing in Monivea. The National Parks and Wildlife Service and the National Forestry Service have also been notified of recent events at Kilskeagh Hill. The state bodies were notified by local residents and county councillors concerned about the development at Kilskeagh Hill last week. Galway County Council served an enforcement notice on a site at Kilskeagh Hill on Friday evening after several acres of agricultural land were cleared without permission.
