South Galway woman Julia Keely from Dunally, Peterswell is celebrating her 100th birthday today at Kilcolgan Nursing Home.

Julia will celebrate reaching the century at a special Mass in the nursing home celebrated by Father James Walsh, Clarenbridge and at a party in the nursing home afterwards.

Julia has four sons Bertie, Eamon, Matthew and Gerard, 11 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.
