SOCIAL PROTECTION MINISTER TO LAUNCH MABS TRAVELLER RESOURCE IN TUAM

Minister for Social Protection Joan Burton will launch a money management resource for travellers in Tuam tommorow.
The North Galway money advice and budgeting service is behind the scheme which will facilitate the development of skills and knowledge to avoid serious debt.
It will also support MABS services in building links with local traveller communities.
As part of this engagement, Minister Joan Burton will also officially open the relocated MABs office on Barrack street in Tuam at 11am.
The Minister will then travel to Carraroe, where she will open a sub office of MABS at Oifig Forbatha at 2:30pm.
