SNOW BRINGS HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS TO GALWAY

Drivers in Galway are being asked to slow down this morning with snow falling in the past hour leaving hazardous driving conditions.It's the coldest morning of the winter.Bitterly cold conditions overnight brought a widespread very severe frost throughout the county as temperatures dropped to between -2 and -5 degrees.Over a centimetre of snow has fallen since dawn in Galway city with several centimetres already fallen across the rest of the county.
