Section of N17 in Tuam branded a disgrace

Galway Bay fm newsroom – A section of road on the N17 in Tuam has been branded a disgrace. Cllr. Seán Canney has made further representations to the National Roads Authority for funding to install drainage and re-surfacing works to the N17 in Tuam from the Railway crossing at Abbeytrinity through to the Milltown Road. Galway County Council has made a submission to the N.R.A. and is awaiting funding. Cllr Canney says the road is in a terrible state with sections of it collapsing under the volume of traffic and as a National Primary Route this is unacceptable.
