SECOND DOCTOR RESOLVES WESTDOC EXTENSION ROW

A controversy over the extension of the Westdoc emergency doctor service to South Connemara appears to have been resolved. It now looks as if two doctors will be on emergency duty from Lettermullen west as far as Carna and Cashel when the Westdoc service begins in South Connemara next weekend.There had been a public outcry against a plan to have just one doctor providing emergency cover in that area.
