SEARCH CONTINUES FOR MISSING DIVER NEAR GORT

Searches will continue today for a Polish diver in his 30s who has gone missing near Gort.

The man, who's an experienced diver, went diving in caves near Kiltartan yesterday afternoon and had enough oxygen to last him until 9.30 last night.

However when he didn't resurface, a search was launched and a diver involved with Doolin Coastguard went into the caves at 11p.m.

It's understood another diver may go into the caves in a renewed search later this morning.
