SEANIE FLAHERTY DEATH RAISED AT HEALTH FORUM

The death of Connemara man Seanie Flaherty while on his way home from an appointment at University Hospital Galway has been raised at the regional health forum. Mr Flaherty was making his way home on foot earlier this year when he was knocked down and fatally wounded in the Moycullen area. He had been provided with a taxi by the HSE to attend U.H.G., but had not been provided with a taxi home.However HSE officials have refused to comment on the case.
