Salthill promoenade reopens

High tide passed without any serious incidents of flooding in Salthill this morning. (sunday).

Parts of Salthill and Galway City have been badly hit by flooding over the weekend and there were fears of further serious damage today as businesses in the are are still counting the cost from yesterday's flood damage.As the city council crews work to repair the damage all of the promenade in Salthill is reopening this morning.
