ROW OVER CITY TRAFFIC CHAOS SET TO INTENSIFY

The row over traffic chaos in the city is set to escalate.

Up to 100 city residents are expected to meet with councillors this evening over plans to replace the Morris roundabout near Ballybane with traffic lights.

The meeting comes hot on the heels of last night's special city council meeting on recent traffic congestion

No concrete solutions were found to the city's continuing traffic crisis at the four hour meeting which descended into farce at times

Several proposals were passed but officials knocked most of them on the head

What was made very clear by the officials was that there will be no rowing back on the plan to replace the M6 route roundabouts with signalised junctions
