Redesign work at Knockdoe to start in next few weeks

Councillor Jim Cuddy says he received confirmation today the National Roads Authority has accepted the safety audit which was carried out at the junction.

Work is expected to get underway in the next few weeks which will involve the realignment and moving of bollards.

It follows concern from locals in Knockdoe and councillors after a fatal crash following the installation of the traffic calming measures.
