PUBLIC MEETING ON PIETA HOUSE IN TUAM

An action plan to establish a Pieta House in the Tuam area will be discussed at a public meeting tonight. (14/12)

The target is to raise 150 thousand euro over the next 12 months for the renovation of a building in the HSE Toghermore campus.

Pieta House, a centre for the prevention of suicide, already has bases in Dublin and Limerick, and there is huge support for a centre in Tuam.

Founder of Pieta House , Joan Freeman will take questions from the public at the meeting at 8pm in the Corralea court hotel.
