PROMINENT ROUNDSTONE BUILDING TO BE DEMOLISHED

A well-known restaurant in the Connemara village of Roundstone is to be demolished. Owners of the Harbour View Restaurant, Thomas and Mona Lynch of Donnybrook, Dublin 4, have been given the go-ahead to knock the two-storey restaurant and build a private 3-storey house in its place.Galway county council has given the couple permission to demolish the existing Harbour View Restaurant and build a new house on the same site on Main St, Roundstone.
