PROJECT COSTING FOR BALLINFOILLE CENTRE TO BE COMPLETE BY CHRISTMAS

Date Published: 09-Nov-2012

Galway City Council hopes to complete all project costing before Christmas, as part of negotiations with the next contractor for a neighbourhood complex in Ballinfoille.

The architects team is now focusing on costing negotiations to curtail any overruns in the project which suffered a major setback after the initial contractor pulled out in August.

The plans which are estimated to cost in excess of two million euro are now the subject of a clarification process following a re-assessment of tender applications.
