PRISON SENTENCE FOR HOUSE BURGLARY IN ANNAGHDOWN

A second man who was caught robbing €3,000 worth of jewellery from a house in Annaghdown last June, has been given a seven months prison sentence.25 year old Polish native Marcin Jawor, with a former address at 3 Waggots Lane, off Dominick Street, pleaded guilty to entering a premises at Barranna, Annaghdown, as a trespasser on June 25 to commit a theft.Galway district court was told yesterday that co-accused, Grzegorz Malik had also received a seven-month sentence for his part in the crime in September.
