PRICE OF GALWAY AGRICULTURAL LAND RISES

There's been a sharp increase in the price of agricultural land in Galway.

The price of land was 7 thousand 900 euro per acre last year, that's an eleven percent increase on the 20-10 price of 7 thousand 100 euro an acre.

The 2011 agricultural report also reveals that nationally, the average price for land has remained steady at 8 thousand 700 euro an acre, which suggests the market is levelling off.
