PLANS TO DEVELOP SITE NEAR GALWAY OMNIPLEX

A vacant site at Galway Retail park, close to the Omniplex cinema could soon be filled.Almane Properties Ltd., whose Directors are Barrys of Barrys MotorPark in the city, has submitted the plans to the Council for the site at Galway Retail Park.They want to build a retail unit on the ground floor, office space on the first floor and four penthouse apartments on the 2nd and 3rd floors.As part of the development, there would be an open courtyard and terraced balconies.A decision is due to be made by city planners in the coming weeks.
