PART OF GALWAY DUBLIN ROAD TO GET MOTORWAY STATUS

The journey from Galway to Dublin will take less time from this weekend onwards.Minister for Transport, Noel Dempsey, will designate almost 300 kilometres of national roads as motorways from tomorrow.[28/8]20 kilometres of the N6 road from Ballinasloe to Athlone will be redesignated as a motorway.
