OFFICIAL LAUNCH OF MOUNTBELLEW INTELLECTUAL DISABILITY SUPPORT CENTRE

A support centre for people with intellectual disabilities will be officially launched in Mountbellew on Friday [Jul 20].

The Mountbellew Resource Centre is led by Ability West and currently provides adult day programmes as well as a respite service.

15 service users attend these day programmes and a further 25 avail of the respite facility.

Speaking to Galway Bay fm news, Group Chief Executive Breda Crehan Roche says the facility was built two years ago through fundraising efforts.
