OCCUPY GALWAY SEEKS LEGAL ADVICE AFTER FORMAL REQUEST FROM COUNCIL

The Occupy Galway camp is seeking legal advice after a formal request was made by Gardai and council officials just before noon to have the encampment removed.

The campsite now consists of 8 tents and has been located on Eyre Square since last October as part of a worldwide movement against corporate greed.
