NUI Galway and INMO to conduct survey on workplace bullying
Galway Bay fm newsroom – NUI Galway has partnered with the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation to conduct a survey on workplace bullying. The ‘Bullying at Work Survey' will examine current levels of bullying, experiences of staff and the consequences of workplace bullying in the Irish Healthcare System. The survey is also seeking input from nurses and midwives on how bullying can be reduced and what support services should be available in the workplace. Professor Maura Sheehan from NUI Galway, whose works on workplace discrimination and injustice have been widely published, will speak at tomorrow morning's launch at the INMO headquarters in Dublin Phil Ni Sheaghdha, INMO Director of Industrial Relations, says that evidence suggests that the problem of bullying still exists.
