NO PROPOSALS TO CLOSE CLIFDEN POBAL OFFICE

There's no plans to close the Pobal office in Clifden which employs up to 30 people.

This is despite the Government announcing that the office was to be reviewed under its policy to wind down decentralisation.

Galway West TD Eamon O' Cuiv is now recomending that the Environment Minister endorses Pobal's decision and that extra staff will be recruited at the Clifden office.
