A swimming pool in Tanaiste Eamon Gilmore's constituency is getting funding despite 11 other pools around the country awaiting grants, including Loughrea pool.
The pool in Loughlinstown in Mr Gilmore's constituency of DunLaoghaire/Rathdown is getting just under 4 million.
It's more than half this year's national budget for pools.
The Loughrea swimming pool project is 1 million euro short.
