NEW DISCOUNT SUPERMARKET FOR DOUGHISKA

Local developers are to expand a mixed-use development on the outskirts of the city, to include a discount supermarket.Ignatius Foy and Leo Maher have got the go-ahead from the City Council to enlarge 28 apartments already approved for Sraith Fhada, Doughiska Road.Nine shop units at the site in Doughiska will also be combined to form one large retail unit which will house a discount supermarket.An underground car park, which has already been granted planning permission, will be extended providing a total of more than a hundred spaces.In granting permission for changes to the Doughiska development, planners have attached 17 conditions.
