NEW CHIEF SUPERINTENDENT OF GALWAY GARDA DIVISION

The new Chief Superintendent of the Galway Garda division is expected to take up his role in the coming weeks.

Michael O' Sullivan, who is currently serving at the Garda national drugs unit, will replace the current Chief Superintendent Dónall Ó Cualáin.

More than 50 senior Gardaí are to moved in the biggest reshuffle among top-ranking Gardaí in more than a decade.
