New Chairperson of West Regional Health Forum

Galway Bay fm newsroom – Clare County Councillor Tom McNamara has been elected chairperson of the HSE Regional Health Forum West. The position has been held by Galway city councillor Padraig Conneely for the past five years. The 40-member forum is holding its AGM at Merlin Park this afternoon, and will meet six times during the year. The aim of the forum is to discuss health issues on the ground with representatives of the Health Service Executive. Sligo County Councillor Rosaleen O'Grady has been chosen for the position of vice-chairperson.
