NCA SECURES CONVICTION AGAINST GALWAY CAR DEALER

The National Consumer Agency has secured a conviction against a Galway based car dealer for breaches of the consumer protection act.
Mr Oleksandr Tabachuk of Sasha Auto Sales and Repairs, Ballybane Industrial estate on the Tuam road was fined 1200 euro, and a compensation order was granted to the value of 4 thousand euro.
In a statement, the NCA says it secured the conviction against Tabachuk in December 2011.
