MOYLOUGH DANGEROUS JUNCTION TO BE REALIGNED

Half a million euro of improvement work is to be carried out on the Galway - Roscommon road in Moylough.The money will be used for strengthening and realignment at a very dangerous bend at Ballinastack, near Dempseys.Sections of land on boths sides of the junction have been acquired by agreement with local farmers to carry out the works.Local councillor, Michael Connolly says work is due to begin shortly on the junction which has seen many accidents over the years.
