MINISTER APPROVES PROMOTION OF GALWAY GARDA CHIEF

Chief Superintendent of Galway Garda Division, Dónal Ó Cualáin has been approved for promotion.
Minister for Justice, Alan Shatter is to ask the Cabinet to approve the senior Garda's appointment to the rank of assistant commissioner.
