MET EIREANN GALE WARNING FOR CONNACHT

Date Published: 28-Dec-2011
Gale force winds of between 100 to 130 km/ph are forecast today.
The Met office says the most damaging are expected to be in exposed coastal and hilly areas of Connacht and Ulster.
It says that winds will result in very high seas which in conjunction with high tides could cause flooding on western and northern coasts.
The strong winds will continue up to this evening but it'll be less windy later, turning cloudy and milder with rain and drizzle spreading from the northwest.
