MEETING UNDERWAY ON COST SAVING AT GALWAY HOSPITALS

A meeting on cost containment measures for Galway Hospitals is getting underway around now. [5p.m]
The meeting is being held in Dublin by the Health Service Executive.
It comes as recent figures show that Galway University Hospitals have overspent by 9 million euro so far this year.
The Dublin meeting is taking place as 50 people wait on trolleys at the Accident and Emergency Department at UHG.
