MAN MOVED TO DUBLIN HOSPITAL FOR TREATMENT AFTER TUAM BRAWL

A man who suffered head injuries in an incident in Tuam yesterday (Friday) has been moved to Beaumount Hospital Dublin for treatment.

The man had initially been treated at University Hospital Galway for injuries after a brawl broke out at the Lissadyra Estate, off Ballygaddy Road, Tuam, shortly after 1 am yesterday. (Friday).

A number of men were involved in the incident.

Gardaí were alerted to the brawl at Lissadyra and sealed off a house as part of their investigations.

They and are continuing to carry out local enquiries but as yet no arrests have been made.
