MAN BEING QUESTIONED OVER BUSHYPARK HIT AND RUN

A man is being questioned by Galway Gardaí over a hit and run in the Bushypark area last night.[24/7]
A man was injured when a vehicle hit him shortly after 9p.m on the Ballagh Road in Bushypark.
He was taken to University Hospital Galway, although his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
The road was closed off overnight for a technical examination but has reopened in the past few minutes.
